Meet caitlinCaitlin is a local educator who understands what it means to support students, staff, and families in the La Mesa-Spring Valley School District.
Caitlin’s experience and dedication to serving students uniquely qualify her to lead the district as we emerge from this unprecedented educational crisis and through our upcoming recovery period. She is currently an assistant professor of biology at San Diego Mesa College, and serves as an assistant dance coach for Santana High School. |

Caitlin is proud to be a fellow in EnCorps STEM educators, where she helps to recruit STEM professionals to teach in K-12 schools. She believes that her professional experience in public schools will be a valuable asset to the La Mesa-Spring Valley School District and its surrounding community.
She will work to ensure that the district budget is managed effectively, and that funds are spent responsibly and fairly to guarantee that all students are served at the highest level.
Managing a school district is a team effort, and Caitlin looks forward to working cooperatively and respectfully with all stakeholders including parents, students, educators, and the community.
